Courtney Valdez

Courtney Valdez is an experienced attorney based out of San Diego, California.

Courtney Valdez has experience in personal injury litigation and complex business litigation/securities litigation matters. Courtney brings diverse experience in personal injury matters related to premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, construction defects, and medical malpractice. She has participated in a variety of complex securities litigation cases, resulting in combined verdicts in excess of $400 million.

At Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Courtney graduated cum laude and earned an American Jurisprudence Award in California Civil Procedure. She was a member of the school’s mock arbitration team and participated in the Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition in 2020. She also served as the Student Bar Association Parliamentarian and was an Editor and Writer for The Jeffersonian school newsletter.

Courtney is an Orange County, California native and a former NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse player. While playing lacrosse, Courtney double majored in Psychology and Business at the University of Oregon and earned her Master of Business Administration at Jacksonville University.
